Some of the ones on the video site don't work, like the ranger one.

Either they all do or all don't, there's never a middle ground. If the site is up at all, they're probably working. Lots of people have trouble with their browsers, so try using a different one.

Well it's slow to load the page. But it works now. Kinda. The site is very temperamental.

One day I'll bother to rehost the videos.. but I'm a lazy man, and that day is most likely far in the future.. because I'd need to hog sooo much bandwidth in doing so... each video being 50-100mb and there being 80+ ones to rehost, means I need to download probably 8gb of data and then possibly reformat it and upload it to my other host... not fun... and rather time consuming. One day when I'm bored though, I'll start it...

If you'd like help, let me know. I have a HUGE webserver that can host the video content for your site, even if you leave it all in the exact format and size that it's currently in.... as far as time and bandwidth... I have typically LOADS of time on my hands and could easily give you a hand with the transfers. I can even do some of the transfers (depends on size) direct server to server FTP which takes a lot of time and bandwidth off the job. I run 14 game servers including a GMOD server with Wire Mod latest SVN running on it. I'm still fairly new to wire and I find your videos EXTREMELY helpful and easy to learn from. Just in the last 24 hours that I have been watching your videos.. I have already created some pretty extensive wire projects on my own system... Also, I have to ask... because a great deal of the users in my gaming community that have and play Gmod know very little or nothing at all about wire mod and it's proper usage... would you have any objection to me placing your videos into my community forums under the Gmod section that I have set up? I would be actually HOSTING a copy of the video there rather than using an embed link or a direct link from your own pages... so it wouldn't have any affect on your bandwidth quotas and such... It would be much easier for my guys to have everything all in one place rather than having to search from one site to another to find the info they need to learn from.

I'm fine as far as rehosting goes, it's just a matter of my getting bored enough one day to do it.
I cannot stop you from rehosting my videos on your own site, however I would much prefer that you did not. Feel free to embed them or link to them however. If the reason for this is due to speed, let me know and I'll try and hurry up and rehost, the new host is faster, less buggy and just generally better.

I just attempted a download of one of your videos (it was about 100mb - one of the first 8 intermediate tutorials)... it when I saw the total downstream speed (100KB/s or less during the entire download), it occurred to me to ask... are you hosting this website off of your HOME connection? If not, you might check with your webserver host provider and find out if they are having line problems... because based on the speed that I was downloading at... it appears to be on a line with only 1mbps upstream capability. Heck.. my HOME connection has 5mbps (50mbps down).

Yeah.. the main reason is due to speed... because sometimes the videos have to stop 5-6 times during each one to buffer the vid data... the connection on the webserver end is probably suffering from some SEVERE packet loss and a much higher than normal Latency "Jitter". Combine that with the raw speed results (from my post about the download I just did), and it would take forever to get through just a handful of videos. If I hosted your video content on my massive web server, your visitors to your site would be able to download OR stream the videos as fast as their own local ISP connection would let them. The webserver I am referring to that I own is on a redundant 10GigE network Infrastructure... Like I said... I have all this extra wasted space that I will never fill up in my lifetime... you are welcome to use it if you'd like to have a mirror for downloads or for even simply hosting the video content itself there and just referencing your code to it in your player on your website, etc.

As I said, I have a new host, it's much faster and eliminates all of those issues, I will begin downloading some of my wire videos today for reuploading. Please do not rehost them yourself.
